bastin's journey into the world of Tai Chi began at a young age, under the guidance of his first master, Liu Huazhang. He learned the traditional forms of Tongbei and Xingyiquan, laying a solid foundation for his future studies. Later, he sought out Wu Haqing, a renowned Tai Chi master who had spent years perfecting the art of Wu-style Tai Chi.
Wu Haqing was more than just a teacher; he was an embodiment of wisdom and power. His teachings were rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy and medicine, weaving together concepts like Yin-Yang balance, Five Elements harmony, and Daoist principles. It was through these teachings that Bastin began to grasp the true essence of Tai Chi - not just as a physical exercise but as a way to connect with nature and align oneself with the universe.
Over time, Bastin became one with his craft. He delved deep into classical texts such as "The I Ching," "Huangdi Neijing," "Huangdi Yinsong Jing," "Daodejing," and "Taiji Quan Jing." These works served as his guideposts on this lifelong journey towards mastery.
Bastin's dedication to understanding these ancient texts led him to spend countless hours studying them in-depth. He traveled across China seeking out other masters from various schools of thought - all in pursuit of knowledge that would help him deepen his practice.
As he grew older but no less passionate about his craft, Bastin realized it was time to share what he had learned with others. In 2021 February 4th ,his article《天人合一的练则》was awarded by Copyright Bureau certificate . This recognition fueled him further towards spreading awareness about this ancient art form.
Today,Bastin is committed to passing on what has been passed down through generations - not just mere movements but also profound wisdom gained over centuries.Being recognized by national authorities for their expertise or contribution does not diminish their humility nor their commitment to sharing their knowledge freely.Their ultimate goal remains unchanged: To ensure that 'Taiji' stays alive for generations yet unborn.
His dream now is forming “China Taiji Research Institute”to research & develop new theories based on five classic books above mentioned ,and promote Taiji worldwide.
Bastin’s story serves as testament to how our past can shape us today while providing hope for tomorrow. His passion reminds us that there is beauty in simplicity and strength lies within unity.Seeing life through eyes once blind will change your perception forever.Come let us explore this fascinating realm called 'Taijiquan', where each step leads you closer home – back into ourselves.
Let's cherish every breath we take,
Every movement we make,
And every moment we live,
For they are part of our eternal dance with nature – A Dance Called Life!
