宋代：戴复古七十九岁叟，时吟感寓诗。年高胡不死，身健欲何为。细柳绿垂地，小桃红满枝。春风不到处，枯蔓挂疏篱。

Song Dynasty: Dai Fu's poetry collection, a brilliant chapter of the ten great writers.
Dai Fu (1167—?) was a famous poet of the Jianghu School in Southern Song Dynasty. His style name was Shi Zhi, and he often lived in Shiping Mountain near Nan Tang, hence his self-adopted name Shiping or Shiping Qiao Ju. He hailed from Huangyan in modern-day Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. Throughout his life, Dai Fu did not serve as an official but rather roamed the world as a wanderer before returning home to live out his later years. He passed away at the age of over eighty.
Dai Fu studied poetry under Lu You and his works were influenced by both late Tang poetry and the Jiangxi Poetry School style. Some of his poems expressed patriotic sentiments and reflected on people's hardships, making them hold significant contemporary relevance.

Aged 79,
I compose verse with feelings.
Though old I do not die,
My body remains healthy
and strong.
In my garden,
green willows droop low
and small peaches bloom abundantly.

As I gaze at the river flowing southward,
When visiting friends in distant places,
In my quiet retreats,
On spring days when flowers bloom early,
With aged eyes no longer clear,
The moon is bright beyond compare;
